and €3.50 for
children (per person, not per boat…..but children need accompaniment)
for 15 minutes.
Description:
This lovely forest to the south of Le Mont St Michel is easily
accessible from both the east of Brittany and the south of Normandy.
If you like the great outdoors it will make a good location for a day
out, either walking, cycling or horse riding.
Our recommendations:
Despite the electric boats (see below) this location is more interesting
for active older children who will enjoy hiring mountain bikes from the
Auberge which is located at the head of the lake. It's quite hard
work cycling the forest trails (our 7 year old just about managed) and
there are no trailers available for youngsters. Take a picnic to enjoy in the woods.
There is a "tree
top assault course" here as well - can provide you a day out in it's
own right (not for the youngest in the family though).
For the children:
The electric boats on the lake are fun, but only for younger children.
