Parc animalier et botanique de Branféré

Location: The Parc is located just to the north of Le Guerno off the D20, direction of Muzillac.  Le Guerno is found in the south east of Brittany, around 20km south east of Vannes.
General Info:  Website.  Tel no: 02 97 42 94 66.  2006 entrance prices: €12.00 for adults, €8.00 for children up to 12 years.  Discounts for larger families & 13-18 year olds.  Open in high season from 10AM – 6PM.

Description: This is a very pleasant open air animal park with interesting animals from around the world.  In a beautiful setting with the lovely backdrop of Château Branféré.

Our recommendations:  Although not cheap for the family, this attraction comes highly recommended and is well worth a visit on a sunny day, especially if you take a picnic and make a day of it.
For the children:  The children are allowed to feed some of the animals.
