Dordogne Viewpoints:

One could almost say that the whole of the Dordogne is a viewpoint!  But this one is rather special and worth a detour:

            (Le Cingle de Trémolat)

Well worth a short detour is the road from Mauzac to Trémolat (Le Cingle de Trémolat) on the north side of the river.  Part way along there is a fantastic viewpoint of a massive sweep of the river Dordogne.  Also as you come down the hill into Trémolat you can stop for another great view of the river.
